Our holiday home in Austria sleeps 49 guests in 7 spacious bedrooms

The house is a roomy vacation home with a spacious kitchen (including pantry), large dining area, and an enormous surrounding yard. The accommodation offers 8 toilets and 6 showers.

These facilities make the house a perfect location for vacations, camps, or team building activities for families, (sport and music) clubs, schools, and companies

Layout

The maximum of 49 beds in the bedrooms are divided as follows:

First floor

Bedroom 1 with balcony: 6 beds
Bedroom 2 with balcony: 6 beds
Bedroom 3 with balcony: 9 beds
Bedroom 4 with balcony: 10 beds
Bedroom 5: 5 beds

Second floor

Bedroom 6: 4 beds
Bedroom 7: 5 beds

4 extra beds

Two more bunk beds can be added to bedroom 1 and bedroom 7. Bedroom 1 would then have eight beds and bedroom 7 seven beds. That makes a total of 49 beds. With an extra bed in room 5, the total could reach 50 in a worst-case scenario.

The dining area

The large dining area seats 50.
It is directly connected to the kitchen and also has sliding doors opening directly to the backyard. There are plates, cups, glasses, and silverware available for 50 people.

Practical information

General

The Konrad Deublerheim is managed by the Teeling family (Helene, Sidney, and their children Max and Femke). The Teeling family lives on-site next to the Konrad Deublerheim, and will receive you upon arrival to show the house and provide any remaining information and details.

A large shoe rack is provided directly at the entrance, where guests can exchange outdoor for indoor shoes. Outdoor shoes are not allowed in the house, so it is a good idea to bring slippers or flip-flops.

Smoking is strictly forbidden in the house and on the balcony. Two ashtrays are provided outside at the front and back of the house. There are strict rules regarding separation and disposal of recyclables/waste; information will be provided upon arrival.

Free Wi-Fi is provided in the house.In het huis is gratis Wifi beschikbaar.

There is a charging station for electric cars. There is also a table tennis table on the terrace, two barbecues and a campfire pit in the garden.

Arrival and departure

Check-in is after 3PM.

Check-out 10AM at the latest

A later departure can be arranged in special circumstances, but may be subject to an additional charge.

If you’ve only booked for a (long) weekend, it’s almost always possible to check out later on Sunday, up until around 13:00.

Bed linens and towels

It is advisable to bring your own bed linens; however it is possible to rent. That costs € 12 per set.

f bringing your own, please be aware that a 3-part set is needed: a bottom sheet, pillowcase, and duvet cover or sleeping bag. So don’t forget to bring a bottom sheet and pillowcase if you bring a sleeping bag!

Towels are NOT provided.

Groceries

A small supermarket is located in town, and provides (nearly) everything. They can also deliver groceries and beverages.

A larger supermarket, M-Preis, is located 5km away in Pfarrwerfen.

Very large purchases/orders can best be done in Bischofshofen (10km).

Buns and bread can be ordered online by 4.30 pm the day before and will then be delivered at around 7.00 am. Further instructions will follow after booking.

Sport activity programs

The manager Sidney Teeling is one of the owners of Vasa Sport, a Dutch organization specializing in active vacations.

Vasa Sport can organize sports activities such as mountain biking, cross country and alpine ski instruction, and snowshoeing for groups staying at the Konrad Deublerheim.

Groups may also receive discounts on ski passes.

Owner

The Konrad Deublerheim is owned by the Alpenländische Heimat und Kulturverein (Alpine Country Homeland and Culture Association). The goal of this organization is the maintenance and stimulation of intellectual and cultural living as well as the commitment to supporting sports activities.
